Default can anyone with tech2 help me with a aircon question?

my aircon doesnt work, i got it gassed 2 weeks ago and it still doesnt work, could be leaking???

    checked fuses, all ok.
pressed ac button on and off didnt notice any dips in revs and also compressor doesnt seem to be turning which could mean no gas in the system or duff compressor.

    my tech2 question is this.....
are the below reading all normal for a/c?

A/C Pressure (Air Conditioning) 140 kPa
    A/C Pressure (Air Conditioning) 0.3 V
A/C Relay (Air Conditioning) Not Programmed
A/C Cutoff Mode (Air Conditioning) Not Programmed
    A/C Information Switch

    many thanks

think aircon pressure pressure should be about 600kpa at idle when not on rising to approx 2000kpa when fully running,
the Not Programmed bits are showing because its opcom and on proper diagostics would read correctly, ie A/C Cutoff mode = Active (due to low gas),
    A/C Information Switch = Off ( i think)
    A/C Relay = Not active

but your pressure does look low, did it work 2 weeks ago when it was done?

the missus took it to be gassed and she said it was freezing, i never drove the car until about a week later and noticed it was the same as not having the aircon on.
the 140kpa was with it on, didnt try with it off, but compressor isnt turning mate but believe that could be because the gas has all come out

yep, looks like your condensor is probably goosed, 90% of the time the cause of leaking gas... You need it pressure tested rather than vacuum tested to hear a leak or check for the dye or residue of aircon gas (yellow/green colour)

go to any aircon place and ask if they can pressure test rather than vacuum, check down the front of the condensor mate.... If u pressede the aircon refill valve in a) your lucky you havent got frostbite and lost yer fingers and b) it means the rest of the stuff has escaped.

once the system is fixed it will be to be refilled again.
