    Vehicle : 2007 1.9cdti sri 150 estate

    Trim : sri

    Engine : 1.9cdti 150

    Year : 2007

    Default over turned vehicles

is it just me or does this happen more and more nowadays?

hardly a day goes by it seems without the traffic report on the radio mentioning an overturned vehicle.

its really hard to overturn a vehicle so is it bad driving or just the fact that there is more traffic reporting these days and its always happened as much we just didnt hear of it

more and more inexperienced drivers not watching the road and hitting the brakes hard, then HGVs having to take evasive action.

and more and more double decked trailers on the roads, not being loaded correctly.

yeah that could explain some of it but there seems to be a lot of cars doing it too.

i understand how a lorry could fall over as it were but how do you flip a car?

Up an embankment or hitting the back of another car and going up and over it?

Not easy, but depending on speed and angle.

Maybe try it on the way home?

Often see caravans on their side and the back of the car still attached and up in the air!
