Vauxhall recommend 5w/30 fully synth long life for all Vec-C and Signum engines.

Their "own" brand oil is very good, as are their filters they sell. Prices competive with other car parts suppliers.

Why do you think it would? As long as you buy the VX LL Specific Magnatec it will be good for the 20k service interval.

If you've had a bad experience with magnetec before, why are you asking if it's ok to use this time?

Surely your own experience should be telling you not to use it again.

Use the stuff Vauxhall sell over their parts counter and you won't go wrong.

Common fault on the 2.2 and could happen with any engine oil tbh

There are plenty of threads on here about it.

I use magnatec in my cdti and had I not just aquired some cheap Dexos 2 I would have used magnatec again

I believe there was a debate about this but it is now a proper fully synthetic.
I have used mobil1, magnatec and dexos2 in mine, and by far the the magnatec was the quietest. I will be returning to using magnatec again for my oil change next month.
