    Default Problem front Signum mudflaps.

I have just fitted the rear mud flaps to my 56 reg EliteSignum no problem.

However the front seems to fit the contours of the wing, and skirt, but thedrill points are wrong, mainly the lower one.

When I lined upthe mud flap, and drilled the lower hole, the drill bit would only go so far,and no further, when I looked the drill bit was trying to chew through the chassis,so not the right place, so I realigned the mud flap, and tried again, still nojoy, and now have two holes showing on the front part of the skirt, (not ahappy bunny)
The part no. of the ones I’m using are 93186703

Would anybody have any advice please.

    Default

    Got it sorted.

Even though the flaps fit the contours of the wing and skirt, the lower hole inthe flap it in the wrong position, so I had to take a trip to B&Q and getsome self-tappers.

I used the upper hole that was marked on the flap and the fitting that camewith it.

I just added acouple of self-tappers so they capture the wheel arch liner instead of the pre-markedones on the flaps, and thereby drilling in to the skirt/chassis, and I binnedthe clip that was supplied to hold the flap on underneath, and used another self-tapper.

How dirty does this sound with flaps/skirt/lower hole ect
