    Eek help

    Hi people noticed tonight when I turned the ignition on thar INSP cane up on my odometer czan any one tell me how to get rid of it as I have had it serviced about a month ago before I went on holiday

    i believe its ignition off, press and hold brake pedal down, hold mileage reset down, turn on ignition wait 10secs or so and you should see the display change to 21000 or so... think thats right..

    try this

    You can reset the service interval countdown by pressing and holding the mileage trip, turning on the ignition (the dash lights come) and continue holding for about 30 seconds. the mileage counter will reset to 21,000 miles.

    Not with InSP showing.

    You only get the 21,000 miles showing with ECOService-Flex intervals (oilcan and spanner symbol in the rev counter display with the mileage left to next service displayed underneath)

    InSP is for fixed term service intervals, and has the word InSP briefly appearing in the trip odometer display.

    The rest of the proceedure is as above though. Some cars need the brake pedal also pressing, some don't. Purely down to the age of the car.
