    Default EGR Screws issue?????

    ok. i did the EGR valve and cleaned it up. when i put it back on to the engine. the screws goes in then carries on going round as if the bit have now worn out. what can i do to fix this?? to make it tight again??? (Think the past it been done too many times or the person before i got the car from over-tightened it!!!

    You can helicoil new threads into it, pretty easy to do in situ and the kits are quite cheap, about £20.

    You will need a 90 degree drill bit though, access is a bit tight.
