    Default Clunking over bumps

I'm convinced that the state of the roads is giving suspension and associated parts a hard time. Hhad new front springs a couple of years ago. Ther's an annoying knocking noise going over bumps. What parts are likely to be worn and approx. how much to replace?
    Cheers

Doesn't sound too pricey. Do they take long to fit? Just wondering what an independant garage might charge.

Also sounds a bit of knocking from the rear. What might this be?

    Thanks

Have you checked that the springs havent gone again, or the shocks? Do you have the rubber sleeves on the bottom of the front coils?

Rears, again springs, shocks, warn ARB bush and probably control arms I think can cause knocking...

Changing droplinks is easy, 10-15 minutes maybe each. Wheel off, support the shock with a 2nd jack under the hub carrier and raise / compress slightly to remove weight from top mount, undo the top mount (use a spanner at the rear and socket for the front) then do the bottom same way...

Providing the bits come of easy enough then only a few mins per side.

Knocking at rear could be the same but may also be upper control arms

I've got the same on drivers side, changed drop links and arb bushes and not fixed yet. Only happens when going over sharp bumps such an badly worn roads and pot holes, can go over speed bumps without it knocking though. So I've got to start looking at other bits. I thought the top mounts but supposedly they will knock whenever the suspension compresses and not just when it is "shocked" going over a pothole
