    Default Bulbs for headlight sockets?

    Hi all,

I have a MY 2006 Estate with original AFL headlights.
On of my low beams is not working anymore so I need to replace it. As i'm not a big mechanic and really can't figure out how to access the headligt I'm paying a local mechanic to change it, as i'm not able to find a guide to changing the bulbs.
As i'm paying this guy i want to be sure i by the correct bulbs. I'm also considering changing all the bulbs in my headlamps and what was wondering if, someone could give me the sockets for all the bulbs in the headlight?

Hope to hear from you guys and thx in advance

Changing headlight bulbs on facelift is actually easiest by first removing the bumper.
Half hour job (maybe not the first time)
I will be doing that tomorrow.

I'm not trying to highjack the thread, and I too have AFL Xenon lights with (I assume) D2S bulbs.
But isn't it ridiculous that perhaps you have to remove the bumper to fit them?

Honestly changing a bulb should be a 2 minute job. Imagine trying to change one in the middle of the night on a windswept moor when it's p?**!ng down!

The difference with the high intensity xenon. Is their more complicated.

But to be fair it could be done with bumper in place would just take longer.
So of the cars out their now are a complete joke to change bulbs on.

No more so than a lot of other manufacturers where you also have to remove the bumper to change a bulb.

^^^ Oh I agree Dave. It's not just Vauxhall, I had a Renault a while back that was a similar story.
But it does seem madness and certainly very bad design.
