Default Couple small bugs (150 estate)

    Hey guys,

Im taking my car back to the garage on Tuesday for them to do some additional work on my car following me purchasing it. So it's all free, woo.. However couple of questions

My cruise control is a bit temperamental. If I'm driving and press the engage button, it lights up and engages, then will randomly disengage. Any pointers?

Switching the car on in the morning or well at any time, I will get the yellow warning light, car with the spanner. It goes out after 10 mins. I haven't ran the pedal test, the garage said not to I case it clears the fault.

Fuel sensor is lying. It's flashing despite fuel being in the tank.

Im having all the work done under sale of goods act if they refuse, it's a main dealer (not a vauxhall one) so any words of wizdom I could pass on, that would be awesome

I had the spanner light for the first few minutes of driving, as I found out from this site was most likely to be glow plugs. I did a resistance tst and it looked like three out of four were faulty. Never failed to start or even struggle, but on changing all four, no more light.

My cruise control occasionally disengages but rarely, maybe the brake or clutch switch is overly sensitive.

As for fuel thing if the light is on but the gauge is well up I have no idea, but I have put £12 in once when it was expensive to get to another one that's cheaper to fill up and light carried on flashing as it wasn't enough to clear it.

I presume all codes are stored until cleared so even if the EML was not lighting it would be present in the memory?
