    Default getting narked

Hi all, i bought my siggy in january and was advertised as a cdti 150 and thats the motor i wanted above all the other engines in the range
After about a week i found this site just to get to know more about my new pride and joy
After spending only around half an hour going through certain threads i was gutted to find that my car was the 8v 120 not the 16v 150
Had it now over 6 months and tbh its a great engine and pulls well enough so the gutted feeling as gone
The reason im writing this is there are so many veccys and siggys advertised wrongly, there are two signums now on ebay thats advertised as 150s but are 120s you can tell by the engine pics and the cdti badge, cant get the links up to ebay but there are two signums on there, a blue 2005 signum at 2895 at halifax and a gold 2004 signum at 1995 at derby
Has anybody on here honestly bought the wrong car unknowingly like me,cheers

The oil filler cap on the 120 is at the front of the engine cover, left of center, the only way to know the difference from outside is the TI on the CDTI badge is coulored red on the 150 all chrome on the 120

Badges should not be relied on either: its easy enough to buy a vxr badge for example. Best advice for anyone is to get to know your cars before you buy, or get someone else who does.
