    Default mod update

    Had the DTI for 4 weeks now.mods done:tint windows clear side repeaters.Just replaced all the vacume pipes, turbo pipes and done the airbox mod.also boost sensor cleaned and engine serviced...
    Love the car but couldnt of fixed all the problems it had when I got it without this site Cheers Guys ;-)boost pipes after.jpg

    taking shape mate,good engine the 2.2 dti, alot smoother and quieter than cdti

    Am looking at doing my 2.2dti boost pipes and vac pipes in silicone blue. Did you buy them from ebay?

    Had my 2.2dti for 7yrs now, been a brilliant car, hope you enjoy it as much as i do mine.

    yes m8 ebay,I bought 4m of vacume pipe but only used just under 3m..The turbo pipes are great quality and was very impressed.you are right it is a great car now lol..Cheers Chris

    Was the hoses from derby performance hoses? Its also cheaper to get their hoses to replace a split hose as the long one costs £160 from the dealers.

    Noticed the vac pipe is 3mm inside diameter. Seen other threads where they have used 2mm i/d on a 2.2dti. Are the pipes a good fit/tight fit/ loose fit/ just right fit? lol.

    3mm was very snug fit. I read somE people used 2mm and some used 4mm. Personally I think 2mm might be a bit small and 4mm, ok but 3mm was perfect
