Default Failed MOT due to springs. 2.2 Direct Sri

Looks like I need all four springs replacing on my 2007 2.2 Direct SRi.

I'm looking for advice on my options. I am open to a little bit of lowering, although I am ok with standard ride height.

What springs have people used and where is it best to order them from?

    Thanks all

i have apex in my 2006 2.2 direct, lower it by about an inch. i just bought from eBay. They seem similar in comfort to the standard springs, but do improve handling

I use eibachs -30mm on my 2.2 SRi, ride is a little firmer and more controlled. Check out the pics in my garage

Those look really nice Paulwr. Got a link for a supplier?

I was looking at these as they are so cheap, but I am a bit dubious.

I think a few guys on here have the FKs... they would be worth a punt at that price!

Ok, so I am 99% convinced to go with the FK's.

What is everyones opinions on the 40mm drop on standard shocks? Bearing in mind its an SRi so already 15mm lower as standard.

After a conversation with the wife I chickened out on the FK's and went for a set of OEM -15mm SRi springs.

Ball & chain... because there is no 'under the thumb'!
