    Default colour coding chrome window strips?

    Has anyone changed their chrome window strips to anything other than chrome, i.e colour coded them or anything? If you ahve can you post up some pics please?

    Debated this when did my rear, don't think it would look right, sure someone from the 05 brigade will swap everything over to rubber if want to de-chrome?

    I'm not sure if I do or not! I vaguely remember someone saying they covered their chrome up with something but I can't find the thread with it on and it'd be good to see some pictures. I'm contemplating black alloys and I'm wondering if black trim might look better with them.

    I just have vinyl tape on mine. 2.5 cm thick I think. I was in the scrappies the other day and picked some rubber of a pre face. Hopefully have a look at doing this at the weekend....

    I might get a few other bits done and then cover it with insulation tape and see what I think before deciding what to do.

    I dont have the chrome ones just the rubber ones, i covered mine in black gloss vinyl to match the door edge parts (Black gloss vinyl) and wind deflecters (looks black gloss with the window tint behind).
