tick tick tick tick ? ? ? ? ? WTF!!!!!!

i can hear a faint tick tick tick when accelerating?

can only describe it as when your a kid and you used to put a lolly stick in the spokes of your bike to get that tick tick tick sound

any ideas as to what this could be

does it do it when stationary? if not then check the obvious stone in tyre tread

its more like a mechanical ticking, Ive checked and the tyre seem clear

if it was something to do with the fan belt wouldn't it be making the sound even when stationary
