Default New CAM Phaser solenoid fitted

I have just fitted a new cam phaser solenoid following re-occuring EML and code P0011, this signified that it was the inlet cam phaser.

Full power has again been re-instated and boy does it make a difference.

I must thank Vauxhall Parts warehouse, who sell on Ebay, even after a bank holiday, parts were delivered the following day.

I had power issues and spanner light. 2 garages said it was the key when they plugged it in (laptops using Delphi software) Then my mate plugged it in for me with his snap on diagnostics machine.

    Error P0011

phase sensors. They clog with cold oil sometimes and just need a clean.... on my occasion they both looked like the image I've attached. Bits of metal in there too :/ someone had noticed this issue before and made a mess of it. Luckily there was no damage to the engine. I only had the car a week.bought it cheap as of the spanner light issue. 1.8 petrol 2007 55k miles.

If you have the same problem.... when you start the car there's no light. But after a mile or 2. or driving slow in traffic or a quick boost losing power instantly then the spanner light comes on and the car goes into limp mode. These could be the problem. I suggest having it plugged in with the snap on machine as that gave a code. in my case. Delphi said It was fine.

I'm no expert, just sharing a problem i had and thats now fixed incase anyone else has an issue the same.

I'm Mike by the way and I'm new to the forum.

    Nice to meet you all.
