How do, quick question regarding the throttle body on my 150 CDTI vectra elite. Still trying to track down this issue of my no power below 2000rpm the all fury and a cloud of black smoke. So among my investigations today of everything I could see I took the intake pipe off the throttle body and then started it, with someone revving the car I was surprised to see no movement whatsoever with it. It was in what I would of classed as the open position, and didn't change when the engine was turned off which was peculiar considering on most other TB's I've had dealings with, the butterfly closes off to stop air flowing into the intake, so is mine right should there be any movement of the butterfly when it's revved?
