    Default Replacement key, no security number

    My Vectra c has but one key.Some fool has lost the aecurity number card.
    Am I screwed r.e. getting a 2nd key?

    Take your v5 or equivilent ownership documents to the dealer and they will order you a new passcode, in the UK I think I remember its about £25 pounds and takes around a week.

    Wifes signum needed second key and i had accidently set off the alarm as i was told by online company to keep the key blade so i could still use car, wrong the transponder chip is on circuit board hence call out to AA who then called out mobile key cutter who can cut key and get new car pass. 15 minutes later and £195 (think £20 was for AA man) lighter in pocket new fold out key alarm reset and he came back and reprogrammed old key. This was a kent based guy but very good guy
