    Default Suspension

Hi, I'm not new to forum rules so I no about the search before you ask which I have but to be honest I can't find anything specific and I havnt got a couple of days to go through every thread, so..... I made the fatal mistake of buying sh*tty fk coilovers as a cheap fix and it's the worst mistake I have ever made they are fine on motorways or flat roads but as I live out in the sticks obviously our road tax doesn't get spent on fixing the roads and it is now getting unbearable, what I'm wanting to know is...
where can I buy standard shocks and springs for the cdti Sri vec c? Are they only available from vx and how much would I be looking at??
    OR
is there a decent alternative aftermarket set up for a reasonable price? It doesn't necesserly. Have to be adjustable or lowered ( more than standard) I just want a nice comfy car again for my daily commute, I have a track car for fun so I'm not looking for a fast road set up!
Any advice will be grately appreciated as I'm at the end of my rag with it.By the sound of the knocks and bangs comin from the car I think I'll be looking at new top mounts also
    thanks in advance, matt

Well I have bilstein b6 with H&R springs and it's a cracking ride quite firm over uneven ground though why don't you go down the b4 route

What springs would I need to go with the b4s and how much would I be looking at? Is this a better alternative to standard Sri set up? I'm new to the vec scene so plz be patient with me lol

I used a PI kit on my 406 coupe. It cornered so flat after i fitted it. Much firmer than factory, but not so bad as to shake out your fillings on country lanes.

The Bilstein B4 shock is an updated oem shock they are designed for standard springs and not lowered but I'm sure someone has them on here with Eibach 30mm lowering springs
