Have you had it checked for any errors? Could be a lambda sensor on its way out but I'd expect that to log a fault report

Ive done the pedal test and the codes that have come up are,
    P0036
    P1565
    P1606
    B2139
Are these faults anything to do with it mate?

I'd say then codes defiantly have something to do with it as the first code is heater code for oxygen sensor

How much would it cost to get a new sensor?
And is it a straight forward job to do myself?

Tbh I don't know I no their usually not cheap at around 100 quid mark for genuine

I would say have a diagnostic system an live data check first.

When was the last service done?

What type of driving are you doing?

0036 is for the heater on the second lambda, mine has been showing the EML for the same code, on and off, for the 2 years Ive had it, I get 41+mpg whether the EML is on or off. Next 2 codes are to do with the cruise control, and the last a head restraint sensor?

What sort of driving do you do? Mostly town, mostly motorway, 50/50? Have you actually done a proper calculated mpg check? The wife was complaining about only getting a couple of runs into Edinburgh and back for £15, but a fill up, drive 150 miles, refill and a proper MPG calculation showed she was getting 51mpg.
