Default Engine stammer at 1800 revs cdti 150

Hi guys, wondering if you can help me out. I've got a55 plate cdti 150 and it's seemed to have developed an annoying hesitation/ judder while driving. Say for instance I'm in third or fourth gear at around the 1700rpm area and I gently hit the gas I get a judder from the engine as if it's stalling. But it I hit the gas fairly hard the power delivery is nice and smooth. It appears to run fine when sitting still at this rev range but under load it does it intermittently during my journey. It's got 82k on and I've check the flaps and they seem to be ok. Any ideas would be appreciated

It could be the boost from the turbo being temporarily interrupted. It could be a sticking EGR valve. If it were me, the first thing I would do is disconnect the battery for an hour to reset all the electronics and take it from there.

Search the how 2's mate. There's a thread on hesitation at low revs. It's a simple fix, you just gotta take the boost sensor out and clean it.

this is by far the most common fault with the 150 1.9 CDTi, everyone should make sue they have done this mod if they still have the yellow injector plugs even if they currently have no fault. I have know people pay out hundreds of £'s to fix the issue that the 3rd injector plug causes and still not get it fixed as the garage does not know what they are doing
