After that you go to the back of the car and open the boot. The handle is right in the middle.

It just unlocks the latch, it doesnt open it. It may well open it fully on the estates with the motorised boot lids, but not on the hatchback.

Humm on my Electric tailgate it only beeps (and unlock) when pressed on the passenger one, They have to go out to open... (Maby missing setting.....) but normaly not a problem, as i Can open via key or drivers door button (and close).

With the electric tailgate you should be able to press and hold the drivers door boot switch until it releases and it should open, you can then hold it down again and it will close too, basically exactly the same as you do with the remote control.

Edit: mis-read that, yes mine's the same on the passenger side, only beeps and unlocks, has to be opened manually.
