Default Which PETROL do you use?

Maybe this should be a poll, but a number of people have said that they only use Shell Optimax,, or BP Ultimate etc etc.

So what do you use, and why?

Me, I tend to stick with BP, mainly for the Nectar points!

Esso Ultimate Unleaded - it works best with my remap of the different ones I've tried. It's also available locally to me. The others are further away.

I can add a poll to this for you - but is your question about petrol, or petrol and diesel fuels.

In my ignorance I'm afraid I tend to consider diesel fuels to be all the same. So my question related to petrol, but by all means include diesel as well! Options might be: Optimax, Ultimate, Shell (premium), BP (premium), Esso, Supermarket, other, + any specific diesel fuels!

I've added the poll but kept it to petrol only (as that's what's your question related to). If any oil burners wish to do such a poll I'll leave it to them to start one off.

I use BP Ultimate Diesel. I was intreuaged to see what difference it would make, and to be honest, I have a fuel card to the extra cost wasn't out of my pocket. (I hope that comes across ok...)

All in all I think it made a big difference. Acceleration was faster, especially in the likes of 3rd and 4th gear. Also added 15 mile an hour to the top speed which I won't go into detail....

Shell Optimax is the only fuel I use.

Why? - Well the car's only as good as the fuel you put in - the higher the RON the better and Optimax has the highest compared to any other fuel sold in the UK - the cleaning agents help to keep the fuel system clean too.
