Default Fitted some 5000k HIDs today

One of my HID bulbs failed today so fitted my 5000k replacements.

I cant remember if I had 6000k or 8000k in before.

Not sure if I like the new ones or not. Granted the light is quite a bit better (More illuminating) but they dont make the car stand out like they used too.

Give it a few weeks and maybe fit some 6000k.

Exactly how I felt didn't do any justice to the car, made them brighter slightly but bit too yellow so I got 6000k

Ive run 5k's for about a year now, love them. The light is pure white and 100% practical imo. I ran 6k's top start with but they were too blue for me. OE 4300k's stand out as HID's so cant see how 5k's wont. Give them a few hours running time and see how they burn in. Ive tried 3 different colour temps now and find they always need a few hours to reach their final colour.

5000 it's the best for me too. I've had 4300 factory and 6000 aftermarket. Now I'm on China's finest 5000K.

My 6000k's have never attracted plods (or anyone else's) attention in the 3 yrs they've been fitted.

    Same here.

Going to leave them in for a bit and see what I think in a few months.
