Default Vectra C Parkin Sensors not working

    Hi,
I know, there are similar threads already but I haven't found the right answer - yet - so this why I posted a new one.

So, I have Vectra STW 1,9 cdti -09 (150hp, autom.) with original front and read park pilots. Few months ago the rear park pilots started to live a life of their own and they made piip-sounds even when there was nothing to piip-about (this was when reversing). At this time the front park pilots worked ok.

Now the whole system is down - front and rear. When switched to reverse the malfunction light turns on and there is this one bling-sound.

    OP-COM gives these fault codes:
B1350 – Park Pilot Sensor Voltage Supply Low Voltage (02) – Not present

B0954 – Park Pilot Sensor Front Left Outer Circuit Malfunction (01) – Present

B0955 – Park Pilot Sensor Front Left Middle Circuit Malfunction (01) – Present

B0956 – Park Pilot Sensor Front Right Middle Circuit Malfunction (01) – Present

B0957 – Park Pilot Sensor Front Right Outer Circuit Malfunction (01) – Present

B0961 – Park Pilot Sensor Rear Right Outer Circuit Malfunction (01) – Present

B0960 – Park Pilot Sensor Rear Right Middle Circuit Malfunction (01) – Present

B0959 – Park Pilot Sensor Rear Left Middle Circuit Malfunction (01) – Present

B0958 – Park Pilot Sensor Rear Left Outer Circuit Malfunction (01) – Present

The BIG question is what is wrong or broken? Where sould I start?

I'd start with checking power an ground to the module itself.

And that the cables don't have high resistance.

Because for all them sensor wires to have a problem seem to me their must be a common problem to them all

On the estate it's attached to the rear fusebox in the boot, I'd assume it's the same in the hatch.

For every single sensor to be out like that it has to be either a module failure (or missing) or a plug come loose or something.

Edit: the module is the one attached to the right hand side of the fusebox in this picture.

    Hi Ian-Highlander,
I have the same estate as in your picture. Few questions:
    - Is the module the black box with the ean-code on top?
    - Is there any way to test the box?
    - Do you know adress on a link to order a new one if it is broken? Price?

    Thank you very much!

The cheapest option is on ebay.. but it will have to be recoded to your car.. but it sounds like your parkpilot box have gone.. but as Ian says, check the plugs, and special the ground wire.

But it could also just be your sensors that have gone...

Thanks kenp! I also thought first that it would be one the sensors that has gone, but op-com didn't point out one particular sensor. Correct me if I'm wrong but op-com should find out if one of the sensors is broken.

I checked the wires of the box and for me the looked like new. And they were all firmly attached.

Thanks again kenp. Are you sure that the box have to recoded? I checked on ebay and used boxes started from 45 euros. Maybe I'll get one of those.
