Wanting to try this myself but cant find the apropriate jack on ebay.

Could somebody give me a hand ?

Yeah I've done the mod just go to maplins explain what you want to do an they'll give you the correct jack

I think u need a 3-pole connector, L&R + Earth.
Maplins didnt give me the right jack xD they gave me a 4-pole one, which i presume is for av display units? 4 pole allows video signals.. so i had to order another online, which i get next weds or thurs :/

is the copper colored connector the left channel ?
