Default How to take Facelift Headlights apart for a mod?

Whipped off the front bumper and removed the light clusters tonight for a headlight mod.

    But....

    I can't get them ****************** clusters apart!

Have tried hairdryer to loosen the glue but does not work.

Sharp knife to remove the glue. Made no difference. These things seem to be stuck together by Superman.

All I managed to do was knacker one of my eyebrows when working on one of the light clusters. Will now have to sand down and respray. My stupid fault mind you.

Any ideas would be much appreciated.

    Cheers

    Chris

As above, I did this when making a direct air feed on my Astra using an old light... But never tried on the Vec.
