Default What bulbs for Vectra C SRI?

Sorry guys, the question has been asked hunderds of times I bet but I can find it anywhere.

I've got a 2006 Vectra C SRI, its got Xenon headlights, one of the low beam (headlight) bulbs has blown.
    What bulb type are they?

Also, if I were to upgrade the sidelights and other bulbs do they need to be Can-Bus? I presume my car has this system as it displays the bulb which is out on the dashboard/sat nav.

    Cheers in advance!
    Alex

Ok, little more info needed here. As you say it's 2006 I'm assuming it's the facelift model, but are the HIDs (Xenons) OEM or aftermarket? If they're OEM just take the blown one out and all the info you need should be printed on it.

As for the rest of the lamps, what do you mean by 'upgrade'?
If you're thinking of swapping some for their LED equivalent, be advised that the lamp check system works by pulsing a small voltage around the lamps and measuring the resistance. An incandescent lamp reacts too slowly to this for you to see anything, however an LED lamp will appear to pulse (commonly termed the strobe effect).
If you're sticking with incandescent lamps then pick carefully as some lamps will light up fine, but will show as a blown lamp on bulb check - good quality lamps tend to fail less than cheapos.
A common favourite for sidelights and plate lights is the MTEC 501 due to a far whiter light than standard lamps.

Hope that helps as a start.

My facelift standard dips are H7, Full beams are H1, non HID. And I recommend Ring "uprated" bulbs, improves vision nicely and no errors.

As handyandy says,.. all depends on the 'Xenon' being factory fit or aftermarket HID type.

Factory xenon headlamps are fitted to my Vectra, are the sidelights and number plate lights both 501's?

I'd swop your bulbs left to right first to be sure it's the bulb as with oem xenons other stuff tends to fail rather than the bulb in my experience. Be very gentle with the bulbs though
