Default Tyres with a VecC 3.2 Gsi Preface & 19" Snowflakes

Hi guys. As per the title. I'm looking for some 19" Snowflakes to upgrade my tired (no pun intended) and well kerbed existing wheels. Can anyone help with the answers to :-

1 - What is the maximum tyre size recommended by Vx when this 19" wheel is used on a PreFace VecC 3.2 Gsi ?

2 - What is the largest tyre you can actually use and fit both legally and sensibly on this 19" wheel with this car .... Or is actually answered in 1/ above ?

    Cheers and thanks

As far as in aware,u can only use 235/35/19 or 225/45/19, best to stick with the stock size of 235/35 though, pressures should be 33psi all round, go easy on them, avoid pot holes like the plague and theyll remain crack fee :-)

Thanks Ben, much appreciated, especially the info re potholes, yes I know this style is somewhat leaky after big road bumps.

I'm running 245/35/19 on mine with a 30mm drop and no problems. The circumference is a tiny bit larger than standard but not enough to worry about.

Thanks for that, it does look like it will take a size (or 2) larger, I may just give it a go

Tyre pressure wise, on my previous set of 18" wheels, Vx told me the recommended pressure is 39F and 35R (225/45/18's) so 33 would seem a little on the low side ?

    Cheers

My snowflakes have 235-35-19 and tyre pressure is 40 all round standard rule i go off along with loads of people is double wheel size plus two so 19x2 = 38 + 2 = 40

    HTH

And no cracks or loss of pressure and i live in stivks with bad country roads if there underinflated thats when the will crack and lose pressure
