Default Signum Rear Seat Won't Fold Flat

One of the rear seats in my Signum won't fold flat, the back flips down but the seat base doesn't move to allow it to fold flat, any ideas what would cause this?

well it basically means the seat is knackered... i caused this on one of mine, i have replaced it since.. i caused it by trying to remove the NSR seat from the my signum and unbolting the wrong bolts so the whole mechanism jumped out of place. i would hazard a guess that this is what the previous owner of your car has done. I do still have this seat as its mint and intend to try and reseat the mechanism properly at some point, if i figure it out i will let you know.. if you figure it out first please let me know...

Have you tried pulling the base forwards as you fold the backrest?

Right I have this issue as well

What I have found out when having a play with the seat on a bench is that the base is located to a set of runners underneath by 2 black clips that look like triangles

When you release it the seat runs forward on these runners with the clips.keeping the base in square , I have one of these clips.missing from my base so have ordered a new one so hopefully this will sort it out

I will keep you informed in the next week or so , if nit I think the next strep will be to replace the short wire cable on the release handle
