    Default Caliper spring clips

How do I get these off on my 2002 elite v6?

I can't see how they come off? I've tried everything I can think of!

As said, pliers or screwdriver at the back, hold your hand over them though.

Well as it happens every thing I'd been told was wrong. the spring needs to be pushed towards the front of the caliper and levered away. All done with new pads now awaiting its mot re test on saturday morning so all's good. all works was checked by a mechanic friend of mine who arrived after I started it and made sure I did it right.

We all have to start to learn somewhere right?
