Just thought i'd preempt the problem i might be up against this evening. The problem is non-lighting door switches. Is there a fuse for them or could it be something more sinister?

If it is just the door switches that are not illuminating, then it is not the fuses.
It is either a duff LED, or a loose / dirty switch connector.
If you have no lights illuminating on the dash panel switches etc, then it could indeed be a fuse, or one of your modules has thrown a wobbler.
quickest way to tell, is to open the driver's door, and all your panels switches should illuminate.
or just turn on the light switch.
If nothing illuminates, then check fuse 12 from the end of the dash.
If this seems okay, then pull it out, and then put it back in - trust me, it often works.
Common fix-it is to disconnect the main battery terminals for 15 minutes, and then reconnect them again.
