URGENT HELP REQD!!!! on SIDE OF ROAD

Hi guys driving car speedo and everything went to 0 handling went heavy have stop car now there is nothing when turn car over any ideas??

Does the car turn over or just click?? If it's clicking then sounds like alternator failure

Id def say Alternator too mate. Battery is death as a dodo now. You with the AA/RAC etc?

As above, does sound like alternator has gone. Same thing happened to me last week. Managed to tow start it (and it kept going although I was told that depending on how dead they both were, it might not) New alternator and new battery sorted it out.

Right guys just to let you all know stripped cim unit down wires were fine but board was full of dirt dust etc so cleaned the lot and connectors pyt back together and checked abs plug......this does not clip on and is just pushed on so cleaned and reconnected fitted battery then vroom vroom vroom!! So dont know if it was just dirt in a bunch of connectors but so glad it works so for all those people that think there cim is broke clean the whole lot first just incase**
