    Default Re-attaching Sun Visor Clips

I'm not having much luck with the search button so hopefully you guys can help me out! I removed the sun visor clips to allow me to lower the headlining at the front slightly, now this all went fine however re-attaching the visor clips to the roof is proving to be a pain, its simple enough yet I can not get them to attach correctly! What am I doing wrong?!

    Here's the parts in question:

This is where the plastic bar should be located when attached to the roof:

But this is what I end up with when I try to attach it! No matter how I insert the plastic bar, no amount of pushing, pulling or manipulating will get them back into the right place!

Any help greatly appreciated! (followed by some p1ss taking I'm sure!)

They are a total f****er to fit, in the end I took the metal clips off the headlining to get them in

No pee taking from me, they're fiddly sods to do that way.

Now for the trick to it...

Pop the metal mount out of the ceiling, assemble the clip and the pop it back into the ceiling

    Edit: beaten to it

Ahh, so the metal part which is still in the roof needs to come out, build the clip up and then fit the whole lot back, I'll give it a go!

Cheers for the replies chaps! and I can't believe such a piddly little piece of plastic can be that awkward to refit lol.
