    Default What phone cradle?

What phone cradle does everyone use for their iPhone 4s? I've recently upgraded the head unit so want a cradle/holder to mount on the dash to put it in when driving.

    Thanks in advance

Don't have an iphone, but I've always been a fan of the Brodit phone mounts, there's one in my car at the moment for my old HTC Desire and the replacement cradle for my new Galaxy S3 should arrive today with a bit of luck.

You can sort of see mine in this pic if that helps.

You can see how it's mounted with a speedclip in this one.

as Ian says, just love the Brodit phone mounts, just clips in behind/beside the heater control, blocks off the left dial a little but you can still turn it to change the airflow direction no problem

Would probably do the job although that's not a Brodit.

    http://www.google.co.uk/search?q=iphone+4s+brodit&hl=en

Brodit do three types of mount:

Passive which is just a cradle, no power.

Active (with 12v accessory plug), powered.

    Active (hard wired).

I normally get the cigarette lighter socket one (Active) and dismantle the plug and hard wire to the internals of that so it's still hidden away and hard wired but it costs about £20 less.

    Some examples here: http://www.mobilefun.co.uk/search/?s...hone+4s+brodit

Not the same sort of mount at all mate, but if you're just looking for something cheap and cheerful that will hold the phone and not charge it or anything then yeah those will no doubt do you, but not what I'd fit in mine personally, I'd rather have the proper fitting active one personally but that's me
