Here's a few quick snaps I took just now, I had to wash it as I have been to Courtenay today for the mapping to be re-done now the standard exhaust has been re-fitted.

    Spec as follows :-

    Courtenay Front Mounted Intercooler
    Courtenay Pre Cat Replacement Pipe
    Standard Exhaust System and Cat
    Modified Air Box and induction
    New VXR Hybrid Turbocharger
Courtenay Custom re-map based on Astra VXR Mapping Address's

    Result :- 254.2BHP and 263.5 lb/ft

It was very aggressive at 260bhp/270lb/ft and when we put the map back in a while ago we estimated 240ish bhp due to the Milltek exhaust being removed, once on Courtenays rolling road with the new software it got a little more than we expected.

But it is so much more drivable now.

Handles very well considering it is a tall car. I have binned the standard 17" wheels for Astra Coupe 7.5 x 18" wheels ET45, originals were 7.5 x 17 ET47.

Tyres were 225 45 17, and are now 225 40 18" which are within 3mm of the originals.

I have also fitted a full set of Bilstein Dampers which have transformed it.

    Wink Your Zaf

Yo Matt. Your Zaf. is absolutely stunning mate. Must be the best on the roads. I have a Silver Lightning Signum and the wife has a star silver Zaf 2.2 Elegance. I couldn't get the GSi as she won't drive a manual. i have to say as I ususally drive the Signum all my efforts have gone into that car but having seen your Zaf. I'm going to look into replacing the front grilles and fogs. By the way did your one always have the silver door strips or were you able to change the black ones ? Cheers Andy

Cheers for the comments Andy, the door strips are standard in body colour, but they are not the same as a regular Zafira.

If you follow the door strips to the front of the car, they blend into the arches which are about 10mm wider than a stadard Zaffy. Th whole kit is different.

But there is no reason you can't have yours painted. The later Elegance's have the arches and bumper tops colour coded as standard.
