    Default Signum Condenser Need Replaces

    Hi

I have a 2.2 petrol Signum and need a new condenser unit. Where is cheap to buy from and how do I know I am buying the right one?

    Thanks

Go to a local car aircon [car] guy, half the price of stealers and do a better job. They will check it first with a pressure test and source the leak, try not to use killfits or halfrauds.you will have a local bloke who i,m sure will help you out.I used a guy up here and he pointed me in the right direction--i got mine repaired under warranty--otherwise £500 plus at the stealers or half that with parts supplied and fitted----Dave

I will do it myself just need the right part. I have found these but whats the difference between the 2

    http://www.autoairconparts.co.uk/Vau...tors-and-more/

Part 16-1240 or Part 16-1240A (and yes I know the difference is the A but what does that mean)

I normally use www.eurocarparts.com to get the info of parts and cost.

I am not affiliated with above company but it's easy to put in reg number and get the right part for the car.

So I suppose the next question would be does the 2.2 signum have a 'drier' and if so can this be moved from the old one and put on the new one as its the condenser thats got the leak?

Thanks Lostie that website sorted me out with the information about the drier. It seems you should replace the drier at the same time so for reference the 2.2 condenser part number is 16-1240A
