Modified Swirl Flap kit for Vectra 2.2 engine Z22YH
Hi people.
Further to my emission light/swirl flap sticking problem with fault code P1112.
Today I rang up my local Vauxhall dealer to find out if the modified swirl flap kit really existed or if the complete inlet manifold needed replacing. It certainly does exist for my car (engine Z22YH). I was given the part number of 93192896 and a price of £250.80 inc. VAT.
Does anyone know if there is anywhere else I could get hold of the kit at a cheaper price??? I have tried Ebay but nothing comes up. Any help much appreciated as always, I am not driving the car until the problem has been sorted as I do not wish to cause any further damage.
Once I've got the money for the kit my next job is to get someone to fit it, there looks to be too much ''stuff'' in the way of the manifold for me to do it as I have no mechanical knowledge. I am certainly not paying Vauxhall to do it as I would probably be looking at £500 in total!!
