Better look at those pics suggests it's not the one in the link I posted. The one in the link is a 2.0T and whilst the pics aren't that clear of the engine bay, that doesn't look like chain driven cam shafts to me in those pics.

Sure there's not as many burnt out cars these days. Maybe because they arse stolen to order or parts as apposed to joy riding?

Looks to me very much like a cdti, judging by the single cam at the front and diesel pump at the back.
