    Default elite lowering

hi folks my 06 1.9 cdti needs back shocks asap so using as an excuse to lower it but from what i've read the elite is 15mm higher than the sri so would i be better of going for a 45mm drop to make a noticable drop or would you say thats too much? thanks

hope your doing the front too lol .
best drop is 45 front 40 rear .as the front sits higher because of the wheel arches .

You wont notuce that much difference with that drop mate all depends how low you want it? I know a few people in here have kowered it and not been happy so got coilovers. If your going to buy shocks and springs alround you can get coilovers for same price and be able to adjust height to whatever you want

It's horses for courses... going any lower than sri height is not practical for me & my work, therefore i chose to go down the route of the Monroe Reflex shocks & Gts springs, purely to improve the ride of my elite.

personally i prefer 45mm back springs and 40s on the front as i hate cars that sit higher at the rear than the front, looks gash imo and ill be going for the drop mentioned above for my elite
