    Default diy clutch change complete

    well finally got the weather here in ireland to have a go at clutch on my cdti on my drive,wasnt as hard as i was imagining,had to try it myself as a price over here in rip off ireland was a 2300 handshake.
    all in id say a day and a half, i probly took off more than i needed to but cleaned and checked loads,very happy with the result,it has its mojo back, power seems well up aswell

    lee to be honest its not that hard a job,had the car up on 4 concrete blocks and block of wood each corner, i can honestly say everything went as planned, if anyone fancys attempting it just ask if any questions on socket sizes ect
    i didnt even think my dmf was that bad, ever such a faint rattle,but found a bloke selling a full kit and bargained him down to under 250 quid all in,so i decided to have a go,car pulls so much better and gearchange back as it was, think u learn to compensate for worn stuff,but what a difference when its new

    nice one. i had my dmf done in cork 3 weeks ago and the guy had my car for a week.cost me 1200 yoyos in the end.

    errr dunno stiil have my problems.long story i wont bore you.i just wish id bought a toyota instead lol.its my wifes car.i drive a 03 astra van 1.7 cdti that thing just goes on the smell of an oily rag 170000 miles and i still havnt had an ounce of problem with it yet.the veccys a diffrent story.
