Solar flare taken by a friend

Some of you might know my hobby is Astronomy......

wow, these are superb. What gear was used?

Video was taken using a Lunt LS60THa solar scope with a Atik 314L + CCD camera on a Losmandy GM8 mount.

And the picture is a 72 panel mosaic (72 individual pictures 'stitched' together) taken with a Solarmax II 90 and a Lumenara camera.


AND REMEMBER NEVER LOOK AT THE SUN WITHOUT CORRECT EQUIPMENT
