    Default MAF question - Y30DT

I had my car plugged in and thought I'd check all the values (fuel, turbo, coolant, etc.). I then thought I'd check the MAF values as well. When I revved the engine the mg/strk figure dropped, which is odd imo because the engine needs more air at higher RPM, or am I wrong here? I plugged in our 2.2DTi and the figure rose as I revved the engine...Do I have a faulty MAF sensor on my V6? I have to add that the fuel pump is failing, but I'm not sure if this would affect the MAF sensor...

It's not been stripped to be cleaned has it?

And some how the element fitted in reverse?

What was the voltage reading for maf?

I haven't removed it from the tube myself, but I'm quite sure it's in correctly. I would probably have some MAF fault codes stored if it wasn't.

I'm not sure about the voltage reading, but I'm sure it was well over 2V under load. I'll check again tomorrow.

It may not log a fault may just having running issues.

If you have a. Multimeter I can give you the readings from mine to compare

I didn't get the chance to check today mate, but could you still post the readings from yours?
