    Default random warning light

    hi this seems strange to me ive only had the car a month no probs at all i had the air con regassed on thursday and now get a spanner light at least once a day but never happend before air con was gassed its a 2002 2.2dti any 1 had ne problems like this cheers and since i put 400ml of 2 stroke in the day before that cheers

    400 ml just under half a litre i did the same just over a week ago after reading a thread in here and was running well till the other day the only thing that is diff is that i used comma 2 stroke not carplan and the aircon is now recharged and have no idea of the codes as i need opcom to read them because my mates snap on piece of crap wont read the car

    some readers wont read dtis carnt really help with out any codes

    First and foremost get the codes read to point you in the right direction, 2-stroke oil? much better to use diesel injector cleaner every 6 months or so and give the a car a fast run, when does the light come 'ON' does it come on first start up of the day then go off after a min or two?

    it will sometimes go out after about 30 secs or have to shutdown and restart and its fine again ill have to find some 1 in northest with opcom lol

    From cold? if so it might be glow plug circuit? But do get it code read

    will that read a 2.2 dti cause every 1 says there a pain to read you lot recon its worth running this tank down and a millers diesel cleaner through and new fuel filter

    Tech-2 is GM's own diagnostic tool, dealer spec, take Paul up on his offer!
