    Default Anyone used FM transmitters?

    Hi all

So I'm looking to use a Belkin Tunebase FM Live with my CD30 - does anyone have any experience of this model in the Vectra or any other recommended models?

I've used a couple of them and was far from impressed, the pick up was a bit fuzzy at times and just terrible at other times.
Not used the Belkin but looking at the reviews though it seems to suffer from the same problems mine did.

Yeah I've read the can be hit or miss but some decent reviews on the Belkin, seems like a good solution on the face of it but if it seems to good to be true it probably is!

Are these the ones that you plug your mp3 player into and it sends out a FM signal that you tune your radio into?

I tried one in my older Toyota once and it wasn't very good. It was easy to get it working but the sound was weak and thin with hardly any bass. In the end I used a cassette adaptor and an mp3 player which was much better.

I have one which i tuned in no problem to 107.9. Only had interference when other cars passed with similar but more powerful devices that interferred and took over my signal.

they are all rubbish, even the ones you plug into the antenna socket.

Unless you unplug your roof aerial there is too much interference to be useful on a long journey
