Depends on your budget fella. Personally I always go for Alpine but everyone has their favourites.
Mine's an Alpine IVA-W505R (£700 retail) with a PMD-B200P Blackbird satnav/bluetooth system (£400 retail) docked into it but there's all sorts of other options out there ranging from the Ebay cheapy all in one things right up to the ridiculous.
This is mine fitted (old pic in mid LED conversion hence the orange dash).

It really depends what finish you want on the car. An aftermarket unit like pioneer, JVC etc will all need a fitting kit (as shown above) which looks fine in my opinion but is not factory fit. There are units out there which are factory fit but have mixed reviews of how good they are...
I have opted for a JVC unit (pic below) which I love in one car and I am fitting a pioneer unit to the other car as a stop gap till I can get a double din DVD screen.
If factory fit is what you are after then look at the VCMMI (put that into ebay)... Not cheap, has issues with the sound off the mic on early modles and is clunkey on screen navication but looks OEM in fit, colour and design.
A DVD unit will cost arround 300 to 400 if you want blue tooth also. If you want sat nave then your looking at arround 900 for a brand make like kenwood or 300 to 500 for a make like Eonon, VCMMI or Extron.
Oh and most after market units are not orange ilumanated like vauxhalls standard interior lighting so can look a bit out if you dont do a SMD conversion IMO.
oh this is the VCMMI unit i was talking about... Most OEM fit for the VECTRA on the market IMO but as I said its pricey for what it is....

And if your car is half can then you will need this to git it to work (I am assuming your full can bus as you have a CD70 sat nav unit...)

No idea bud... For a few quid more you can have a unit with a full screen which is what I would go for...
The VCMMI ones looks really good, but they are kind of pricey.
Its a shame that all 3 of the Eonon systems (D5103E, D5107E, and D5108E) have that raised V shape centre as common on the Astra's and Corsa's, but there all priced at £207.00 and £319.00, But since your not fussed about factory finish, they could be a option to look at.
The VCMMI and the Eonon systems specs and looks are similar.
One question for everyone else, the VCMMI, are these just systems bought from the far east and just branded?
The reason i ask, i've just spotted that model at two different websites stating two different manufacturers. Caska and Mimi.
I've got a pioneer 3300bt with DVD Bluetooth iPhone iPod connection USB and ya can have the display and button leds almost exactly the same as the vectra as ya can change it in the settings to any colour cost me 280
You can look this. It looks factory fitted.
