2.8t v6 timing chains.

hi folks.
over on the vxr group a number of us are experiencing problems with chain stretch i was wondering if or how many have or had problems on here with the 2.8t chains.

Think it's about the only problem with those engines mate, but yes, i've seen info on stretched chains before

Quite a few faulty ignition coil occurrences as well.

I'm at about 74000 with no problems at the moment (touch wood)

Just had a local lad around to mine with a stretched chain sounds awfull worse that the 2.2 s when the stretch wanted me to do it next week tuff off to hull lmao

theres more and more creaping out of the woodwork.
so the 2.2 suffers from stretch aswell
