Well, i think i might give these a whirl in my preface angel eyes. I'm contemplating splitting the casing, taking out the old ring and putting in these. Any thoughts?

Been on my list of things to try for ages now, just don't have the money to do it at the moment. There is a company that sells CCFL halos for Vectra C's (supposedly) and they weren't that expensive. Shouldn't be a massive job removing the old halos and fitting the new ones and the transformers for the CCFLs once you've got the headlights split.

Go for it, would love to see this done.

lol. I have some angel eye headlights already but the leds aren't bright enough for my liking i'm hoping it'll be a case of swapping out the entire ring. I have my old set of chromes kicking around, was thinking of trying something special with them........

just been out to the shed and looked at the chrome ones it looks like a bead of sealant across the top and clips withe a blob of glue around the restcant see it being a big job splitting them, then just measure and hope i can buy the right size rings,a quick coat of matt black and job done.l could have this done i only 8 or9 months if i rush.i already have the angel eyes wth the triple smds in and i also think they are not bright enough

I'll be refurbing a spare set of headlights this winter (split, tint inside, blacken the chrome parts, cutting compound on the lens etc etc), has anyone got a link for the parts mentioned here please? Well, it'd be rude not to look at another mod whilst I'm in there!

Also thinking about adding some DRLs in the headlights themselves, probably use some small LED strip to achieve the effect I'm after, has anyone tried this?
