Getting ma alloys painted slightly darker
Tinted windows

There is a guy who works close to me with exactly the same car as me with all the above already done.

What do i do now?

There is a real limit on affordable mod's, these are ones that many people will do after reading about them on here, or just thinking them out themselves, no-one here is bothered about two Vectra's the same, you mate should be the same at work.

why not go for an Opel chrome instead of the Vx one? that would be different enough, then go from there?

Another question is, if you've put a lot of thought into how you want to proceed, are you copying or just considering what others have done (many have done those mods) and choosing the one that would look good on you car, in you opinion? I painted my calipers after seeing others had done it on here, decided what colour I thought would look best - have I copied, probably. Do I (or anyone else care)? no.
Or is this person up the road the type to make a fuss about it?

Your car, your rules. As said above, without spending mega £££ there's a limit to what you can do!

See mine on my avatar, see it now, and I've spent hardly anything on it, as long as the car is how *you* want it, go do it. If you really want to be unique, paint pink love hearts on it haha!

The question is, if you had never seen this guys car, would the outcome of how your car looks be the same??
If so then no ur not copying... And as said, the guy probably wouldn't care anyway
If the guy two doors down got anthracite alloys 2 days after me, then tinted a week after me
I'd start to get pretty annoyed tho lol
I have a mate with the same 06 black Sri as me and saw my painted v and openly said he was going to copy it and did it the same day, I was annoyed at first but iv gotta remember iv only copied the however many people did it before me..
Take inspiration from a lot of cars and ul end up with something unique pal
Just my opinion tho ;-)
