Poorboys Blackhole or Autoglym Ultra Deep Shine, I won't use any others on mine.

Wash it then Clay it mate (makes a big difference) then wash it again and then attack use AGP products, Britmax or Poorboys.

I have got really good results so far from doing this. My paint looked washed out and tierd but not anymore.

    Have a look here http://www.vectra-c.com/forum/showth...tie&highlight=

I started this after many chats with Happyposite / Khalid.

    Worked very well for me,

P.S speak to Khalid or Bobssignum for recommended products

As for sealents this is what I think is still one of the best. This is a reflection from my car. You only need to use either wax or sealent not both.

Takinging it that no polishers are available , then as others have said then wash the car with a ph shampoo like Zymol auto wash , then clay the car then wash again .
    Next stage
Paint cleaner for this i use Zaino fusion this stuff is the muts for removing oxidation from paint ,alternatives are pinnacle xmt or mequiars paint cleaner
    poorboys blackhole
    Next stage
Polishing Far to many choices here And for every suggestion there is probably twenty alternatives , my personal favourites Chemical guys Blacklight, or Britemax,s Blackmax , also worth considering Auto Glym UDS
    Next stage
Protection , For this you have two choices and either would vary depending on time of year Sealants or waxes .
Because most people only usually bother cleaning the car regularly in the spring-summer -autumn then all you need is a sealent these generally only have a short time when they are effective and so are relatively easy to apply and can be topped up at any time without need to go through the whole process every time .
To this end you have the previously mentioned blacklight and blackmax which double up very well as sealents as well as polishes to these can be added optimum opti-seal Zaino clearseal , AutoGlym,s EGP etc
Or you can use the alternative and use a wax as a final stage , almost as diverse as polishes , personally i only tend to wax during a pre winter preperation detail which is designed to give the paintwork the most possible protection for the coming winter , most good waxes will last 2 to 3 months with some good for upto 4 to 5 months depending on the severity of that seasons weather to this end i use C G ,s pete,s 53 or the stalward for a long endurance wax Collinite My preference is 915 but others swear by 476 0r if you want a high gloss wax then 845 either should see you through the winter with maybe only a top up on the most exposed panels mid winter
Hope all this was of use to you , welcome to the world of detailing .
Apart from all the above there is only two other things you need
    Patience and deep pockets
    regards
    Driving vauxhall,s for 30 + years
    and still loving it
