    Hi their dose anyone know what the best fuel to use is for my 2.2 direct Sri vectra petrol just wondering as have heard a few things but wanted to try an get some piece of mind thanks

    hi i always use shell fuel save but to be honest im not sure why lol im sure supermarkets etc are just as good its just a habit i shall have to break

    Shell v power mate cant beat it car runs much better after couple of tanks

    How about a mix..... 2 tanks of supermarket (to keep costs down) then 1 tank premium?

    Go for a good name Shell, BP, Esso etc the direct is a great car but I don't think it likes 'supermarket fuel' fed it hth ...............

    My 2.2 direct is mainly run on Tesco unleaded. Occasionally gets Esso but never allowed to drink Shell. I'm old enough to remember what their Formula Shell used to do to Vauxhall cylinder heads.

    Runs fine enough on Tesco 95 Ron.

    Many of our customers say that when they use Shell V Power they do notice a difference in performance an fuel consumption. My advice, always buy the best quality fuel you can afford.
